How to connect

Claude

Works on claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the mobile app. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner must add it for the organization first.

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name: Powermail.me. URL: the connector URL above.
  3. Click Add, then Connect.
  4. Sign in with the email and password you use for Powermail.me.
  5. In a chat, click + → Connectors and turn on Powermail.me.

ChatGPT

Works on chatgpt.com. Adding subscribers and creating drafts may need a Business or Enterprise workspace.

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click + and choose Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name: Powermail.me. Server URL: the URL above. Authentication: OAuth.
  4. Confirm, then sign in with your Powermail.me email and password.
  5. In a chat, type @Powermail.me and ask your question.

Add a subscriber

Adds one person to a list, only with their consent. Double opt-in lists email them to confirm.

Draft a campaign

Saves a campaign as a draft with your brand's sender. It is never sent automatically.

What the assistant cannot do

  • Send or schedule campaigns. You send drafts yourself from the Powermail.me panel.
  • Download lists of email addresses. It only sees counts and statistics.
  • See other brands or change account settings.

Security and privacy

  • You type your password only on the Powermail.me sign-in page. The assistant never sees it.
  • Access is limited to one brand. If you sign in with the main account, you choose which brand to connect.
  • The assistant's answers go to its provider (Anthropic or OpenAI). It shares statistics and the emails you explicitly ask about.
  • You can disconnect at any time by removing the connector in your assistant's settings. If you don't use it for 30 days, you will need to sign in again.
